The set contains a coach, type Bvmmsz, a coach, type Bpmmbz, and
two coaches, type Bpmmz.
FlixTrain operates modernised coaches, some of which are run by
partner companies. The coaches have undergone a technical overhaul
and feature Wi-Fi, power sockets at the seats, modern toilet
facilities and a bright, contemporary interior. The trains run in
Flix’s signature green and white livery and offer seating
exclusively in 2nd class. FlixTrain is a private railway
undertaking and part of Flix SE, which also includes the brands
FlixBus, Kamil Koç and Greyhound. FlixTrain has been active in the
German market since 2018, has established itself as the largest
private provider of long-distance passenger rail services, and
plans to expand further. FlixTrain enables sustainable travel and
fills an important gap in long-distance transport: fast and
affordable mobility for everyone. The trains operate on several
major routes within Germany, including Hamburg–Berlin,
Berlin–Frankfurt and Cologne–Hamburg. Further connections have been
added in recent years. In addition, through the partnership with
the Deutschlandtarifverbund (DTV), more than 1,000 additional towns
and cities are now connected to the FlixTrain network with just one
change.
