The class 145 electric locomotive was developed from the late 1990s
onwards by ADtranz (later Bombardier Transportation) for freight
transport in Germany. It belongs to the first generation of the
modular TRAXX platform and is a further development of the class
120, albeit without the additional equipment required for passenger
transport. The 145 065 was built by ADtranz in 2000, initially
delivered to DB Cargo, and has been in service with MEG in Schkopau
since 2 September 2019.
