■ Featuring repair patches

In 1946, the Netherlands State Railways took over more than 2,000 coaches from USATC stocks. Among them were 1,000 covered freight wagons, which were put into service with numbers 22501-23400. These were used until 1953. As there was a shortage of paint in the post-war years, only the most necessary changes were made: the cars initially retained their olive green USATC colour; only the USATC lettering was painted over.
