Railway.
■ For the first time featuring a beige-coloured roof
The newly-founded Deutsche Schlafwagen- und
Speisewagen-Gesellschaft (DSG) took over most of the MITROPA
sleepers which had survived the Second World War and their use by
the occupying forces. At the end of the 1950s, several of these
sleepers were equipped with rubber bead transitions. Due to their
sturdy construction, 26 of these coaches were given a UIC-compliant
coach number in 1966.
