"Vindobona" is the Latin name for the City of Vienna and the
designation of the international express train that ran from 1957
to 2014. The train covered the distance from Berlin via Dresden and
Prague to Vienna for a long time. In its final years, the
"Vindobona" traveled from Hamburg via Berlin, Dresden, Prague,
Brno, and Vienna to Villach. The train got its international
character from the changing wagon formations depending on the
railway administrations involved (DR, CSD, MAV, JZ, ÖBB). Our coach
sets replicate a train in the timetable year 1987/1988.
