4 piece set passenger coaches "Donnerbüchsen" of the Deutsche Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft.

The set contains one 2nd/3rd class wagon type BCi, one 3rd class wagon type Ci, one 3rd class wagon type Cid and one baggage wagon type Pwi.

After the merger of the German Länderbahnen to the German Reichsbahn Gesellschaft in the 1920s, the large variety of passenger coach types became almost unmanageable. This led to the development of new standard passenger coaches. Although the heavy all-steel version of the two-axle corridor coach offered more safety and comfort for the travelers, it sometimes made quite a rumbling noise when driving. This was the reason why the coaches were soon given the nickname "Donnerbüchsen".
