The UIC-Y carriages have been widely used in international travel traffic. As through coaches, they regularly operated in popular trains, such as the Arlberg Express Paris-Innsbruck or the Orient Express Paris-Vienna. This coach series is therefore not only of importance for the French model railway, but is also of interest for all European model railway fans, who enjoy building authentic international trains.
