From 1971, the Deutsche Bundesbahn put 398 Class 218 series
locomotives into service and used them in front of passenger and
goods trains. They operate on most non-electrified lines. The
locomotives are currently in service at the Ulm, Kempten, and
Mühldorf am Inn depots but are also regularly swapped between the
locations.
Note: The model is a new item, which is created by overprinting
some details such as the road number or frame lettering. The
specific details are taken over correctly depending on the
prototype. The models are offered at an attractive RRP, as
overprints may be visible to a certain extent.
