About the model
DR, steam locomotive 58 1111-2, three-domed boiler, with three
headlights, Era IV.
Frame, locomotive boiler, tender chassis, and body made of metal die-casting
• three-domed boiler, bell, as well as a coal box attachment and gas tank at the rear end of the tender
• Powerful five-pole motor with flywheel located in the locomotive boiler
• All wheelsets with finest spokes, some with fine flange profiles for a prototypical appearance
• Three locomotive wheelsets and the middle tender wheelset are sprung for optimal driving characteristics
• All lamps illuminated depending on the direction of travel and switchable in digital operation
• Many extra details added, where possible made from robust steel wire
• The interior of the driver's cab and the front of the tender have been intricately detailed
• All model versions also available with sound. The sound has been specially developed by us for this model
• Couplings on locomotive and tender with coupling sockets according to NEM 355
• Short coupling between locomotive and tender
• Digital interface according to NEM 662 ("Next 18")
• Analog version prepared for the installation of a rectangular speaker (15 x 11 mm)
