This latest generation impresses with completely new paint schemes and significant internal modernizations compared to the predecessor versions.

The revised interior design now includes a new main circuit board (PCB) equipped with an integrated power pack (stay-alive) for better performance on track sections with low conductivity. Additionally, there is cab lighting and two factory-installed, high-quality "sugar cube" speakers. (Please note that these features are only available in DCC operation).

In line with these hardware improvements, ESU has developed an exclusive, brand-new sound project featuring original recordings of the real locomotives. This project is optimized for the recommended LokSound 5 21MTC and is now available for download on our website.
