1962

5x units from this series were built between 1962 and 1963. These are not new cars but a revamping of former third-class carriages. Evidently there was a need to enhance the refreshment service without waiting for the construction from scratch. These maintain only one of the two vestibules, thus dividing the carriage into two environments: one small and one large. The small one remained unchanged and housed 16 ordinary seats, while in the large one there was space for the kitchen, and for 36 seats. They were not equipped with a pantograph.

Technical details:
- weight: 31 t
- maximum speed: 140 km/h
- interior configuration: 52 seats of which 36 restaurant-seats
