1975

6x units from this series are built in 1975.

Initially, these coaches have 6x 1st class compartments, but since the luggage compartment proved to be far too small, they are slightly reconfigured:
- 2x compartments are removed to increase the available space for the luggage compartment;
- 1x compartment is transformed in an office for the train crew.

1982

After the Swiss Express service is abandoned in 1982, the UIC automatic center buffer coupling at the end of the coach without transition is replaced with a standard screw coupling.

Unit AD 81-34 006 is converted from unit A 18-34 017 in 1986.

All units from this series are sold to the Bern–Lötschberg–Simplon Railway - BLS where they are registered as AD 81-34 000 - 006.
