After the nationalization of the VSB (United Swiss Railways), the SBB had a series of four cars AB2 1001-1004 in the fleet. These cars, built in 1898, were converted into pure second-class cars in 1920. Therefore, the box body should also be largely identical to the previously newly built standard cars. In addition to an abortion, the car offered 30 second-class seats, each divided into a smoking and non-smoking compartment.
The axle mass measured 7.00 m with a length of over buffers of 11.02 m. The last car of this series is said to have been discarded in 1959.
