1966

All 100x units from this series are built between 1966 and 1968.

Each coach comprises 12x 2nd class compartments with 6x seats each. In standard Swiss style, the smoking seats have red upholstery and the non-smokers green. From unit 066 onwards, public address loudspeakers are fitted.

The maximum speed is increased from 140 km/h to 160 km/h.

Unit 076 is destroyed during a collision in Okucani, Yugoslavia, in 1969.

Between 1980 and 1982, the steam heating equipment is removed.

Unit 028 is destroyed during a fire in Rome.

1993

In 1993, 12x units (units 001, 003, 006, 009, 012, 023, 027, 029, 037, 041, 048 & 050) from this series are converted to Apm 29-70 150 - 161 (Sleeperette) passenger coaches.
