All units from this series are acquired in 1985 and 1991 and receive designation A 10-73.

As the units are upgraded for push-pull operations, they receive new designation A 10-75.

All units from this series are sold to the Swiss Federal Railways in exchange of all the Unified Cars Type III in the context of BLS giving up main line connections and taking over all operations of the Bernese RER.
