The one-piece sliding doors are pressure-tight, which is especially
noticeable when the train passes through a tunnel. However, beyond
that, they offer little benefit. On the contrary, every time a
train approaches, passengers on the upper deck experience a sudden
jolt as the air flap slams loudly at one end of the car—a
less-than-ideal solution.
The train’s entrances have sparked considerable debate. Lowering
the floor to improve headroom may seem unremarkable, but it has
drawn criticism from wheelchair users. While the small threshold
created by the extendable platform shouldn’t pose a major obstacle,
it remains a concern. Additionally, the handrail in the external
staircase has been recessed and ends slightly higher, another point
of criticism. However, given the staircase’s narrow design, an
alternative layout wasn’t feasible.
