Ae 8/14

The middle of three 1AA1AA1+1AA1AA1 double locos Nos 11801, 11851
and 11852, built for the Gotthard line in 1931, 1932 and 1939
arrives at the top of the north ramp from Erstfeld to the Gotthard
tunnel at Goschenen on a miserable wet day. This example was of
8,250hp and was given modern cabs in 1960. Cars wait in the
background to take the car ferry train through the tunnel in the
days before the Gotthard road tunnel.
