These units are converted from WR 88-33 116 - 122 coaches in 1975 and 1978:
- in 1975: units WR 88-33 116 - 118 are converted into WR 88-33 610 - 612;
- in 1978: units WR 88-33 119 - 122 are converted into WR 88-33 613 - 616.

1989

The self-service system is not a huge success with the public and 6x units are converted as following:

3x units are converted into WR 88-33 700-702 "Cheese Express / Chäs-Express / Fromage-Express" coaches:
- 1989: unit WR 88-33 616 is converted into WR 88 - 33 700 "Chäs-Express";
- 1991: unit WR 88-33 615 is converted into WR 88 - 33 701 "Chäs-Express";
- 1993: unit WR 88-33 614 is converted into WR 88 - 33 702 "Chäs-Express".

3x units are converted into WR 88-33 710 - 712 "Calanda Land":
- 1992: unit WR 88-33 610 is converted into WR 88-33 710 "Calanda Land";
- 1993: units WR 88-33 611 and WR 88-33 613 are converted into WR 88-33 711 "Calanda Land" and WR 88-33 712 "Calanda Land" respectively.

Unit WR 88-33 612 will remain the only "Self-service" unit.
