The 10x electric locomotives of this series are owned by Akiem after the acquisition of Macquarie European Rail in 2020. The Vehicle Keeper Marking (VKM) inscribed on the locomotives is that of BLS Cargo (BLSC) with units 901 - 907 registered in Germany and units 908 - 910 registered in Italy. The locomotives are actually leased and used by SBB Cargo International (SBBCI).

These locomotives are of type TRAXX MS2e with the following country packages: DE-AT-CH-IT.

All locomotives receive a new livery and enter service in this configuration between 2020 and 2021.
