Highlights from InnoTrans 2026:
• ÖBB Railjet M — Siemens Mireo, Class 4884
A new single-deck train designed for ÖBB’s long-distance routes within the Austrian Alps, bringing the Railjet experience to a more compact train.

• ÖBB Double-Deck Railjet — Stadler KISS, Class 4706
The new double-deck Railjet adds capacity to ÖBB’s long-distance fleet, with improved accessibility and interiors designed for intercity travel.

• ÖBB Cityjet Akku — Stadler FLIRT Akku, Class 4750
A battery-electric regional train that can operate beyond electrified lines. It will gradually replace diesel trains on selected ÖBB routes.

• SBB Cargo EURO DuFour — Stadler, Class 494
A new multisystem freight locomotive for SBB Cargo in Switzerland, designed for flexible operation on both main lines and branch lines.

• Trenitalia Frecciarossa 1000 — Hitachi Rail
The latest generation of Italy’s flagship high-speed train.

• PESA GAMA 3.0 — Locomotive 304Eb-021
A new-generation electric locomotive equipped with a battery-powered last-mile module, allowing it to move on unelectrified sidings and terminal tracks.

• HŽPP Class 7024 — KONČAR Electro-Diesel Intercity Train
Built for Croatia’s HŽ Putnički prijevoz and its Zagreb–Split services. Its electric and diesel propulsion allows through journeys across electrified and non-electrified routes.

• KORAIL KTX-Cheongryong — Hyundai Rotem EMU-320
South Korea’s high-speed train platform designed for commercial operation at up to 320 km/h. Distributed traction places propulsion equipment throughout the train.

• Captrain Traxx Universal — Alstom
A multisystem electric freight locomotive designed for cross-border services. Last-mile capability also allows it to work on tracks without overhead power.

• RAILPOOL Traxx Universal — Alstom
A new locomotive for RAILPOOL’s leasing fleet, intended for use by railway operators on international freight services. It combines multisystem operation with last-mile capability.

• Norske tog FLIRT Nordic Express — Stadler, Type N12
A new long-distance train developed for Norway’s demanding climate. The wider FLIRT Nordic Express fleet introduces accommodation for both daytime and overnight journeys.

• ARST Hydrogen Train for Sardinia — Stadler, SRHe Series
A new narrow-gauge train using hydrogen fuel cells to power electric traction.

• České dráhy Battery RegioPanter — Škoda Group, Class 690/691
A new-generation regional train that combines overhead electric power with battery operation, allowing direct services to continue onto non-electrified lines.

• Siemens Mobility Vectron
Siemens’ locomotive platform for passenger and freight services across Europe. The 2026 exhibition highlights Vectron X, adding connected applications and digital services to the platform.

• Trenitalia Coradia Stream Intercity — Alstom
A new intercity electric train for Italy, designed for speeds of up to 200 km/h and featuring accessible boarding and modern passenger accommodation.
