Following the first series of Re 4/4I 401 - 426 electric locomotives, a second series is delivered between 1950 and 1951.

These units don't have the gangway connection.

These locomotives are registered as Re 4/4I 427 - 450.

All locomotives from this series are also delivered in a green livery.

1958

All 24x Re 4/4I units are renumbered 10027 - 10050 between 1958 and 1960.  

1971

Units Re 4/4I 10033, 10034, 10046 and 10050 receive the TEE bordeaux and cream livery.

1984

All units receive the new red livery during the R3 revision from 1984.
