1980

ÖBB coaches type Z1 Bm(o)z 21-70 500 - 604 are manufactured between 1980 and 1982 by SGP Austria. They are designed to operate on the international rail network at speeds of up to 160 km/h. The interior is divided in 11 compartments, 6 seats each.

Instead of air conditioning like the Eurofima coaches, these cars were fitted with a Friedmann air heating system so they also received opening windows (the Eurofima coaches had fixed windows).
