1981

The 6th and last batch of locomotives, consisting of 27x units, is ordered in 1981. The locomotives are registered Re 4/4II 11371 - 11397 and are delivered between 1984 and 1985.

The units from this final order are the only ones to feature rectangular halogen headlights straight from the factory, whereas all other Re 4/4II and Re 4/4III electric locomotives (as well as the Re 6/6 electric locomotives) were only equipped with low-range round headlights. Subsequently, all Re 4/4II and Re 4/4III are fitted with halogen headlights.

Other difference compared with the previous units: the 27x electric locomotives from this series are built with solid wheels instead of the bandaged wheels of earlier series.

Units Re 4/4II 11377 - 11397 also receive the red livery already at delivery (the first 6x units, Re 4/4II 11371 - 11376, are delivered with the green livery).
