1977

The first units from this series are built in 1977.

1985

In 1985, the main SBB workshop in Zurich painted two grey Eaos freight wagons (532 1 303 and 532 1 304) for the first time in RAL 4003 "Erikaviolet".

The decision is made to paint other Eaos in this colour but most units are already built and only 15x wagons from the last series manufactured by Ferriere Cattaneo are painted in this colour scheme. These freight wagons are registered 532 1 285 - 299.

2010

Between 2010 and 2011, 440x units are converted to Fas freight wagons.
