Albert Modell

Albert Modell, established in 2014 and making its international debut in 2017, has rapidly become a premiere specialist for Eastern European railway modeling in H0 (1:87) scale. Based in Hungary, the company operates with a "quality over quantity" philosophy, producing highly detailed, limited-edition runs—often as few as 100 pieces per variant—that are primarily targeted at the collector market. While they have expanded their range to include prototypes from Germany, Switzerland and Austria, their heart remains in the meticulously researched rolling stock of the MÁV (Hungary), CFR (Romania), PKP (Poland) and ČD (Czech Republic).

Technically, Albert Modell is renowned for its high-precision injection molding and "needle-sharp" printing, which allows for the complex lettering and technical inscriptions required for authentic modern freight trains. Their catalog is dominated by specialized freight wagons, including the Zans/Zacns tank wagons, Eacs gondolas, and various hopper and flat cars, alongside a growing fleet of diesel-hydraulic locomotives like the LDH 125.
